Transcript: what happens in this video
- Filename search locates a Coiled Serpent image. Find Visually Similar uses that image as the reference for a ranked search.
- The results include other serpents, scarabs and an eagle pendant.
- Choosing Find Visually Similar on the returned Eagle Pendant changes the reference chip and produces another result set, with eagle images, a sphinx, reliefs and other local objects.
What this video shows
- Locate and select the specific coiled-serpent image.
- Choose Find Visually Similar from its context menu.
- Inspect the first ranked result set.
- Choose Find Visually Similar on the returned Eagle Pendant.
- Inspect the changed reference and second result set.
Result
Two genuine image-reference searches produce different ranked results across 114 indexed visual assets; the closing reference is Eagle Pendant, not the original serpent.
Before you start
- Visual Search enabled for the folder.
How it works
- Similarity ranks visual resemblance; it does not identify an object or establish a historical connection.
