Ennyd Software License

SemanticGaps, a Wyoming limited liability company, provides Ennyd under this agreement. Contact us at hello@semanticgaps.com. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for purchases; its buyer terms govern the payment transaction. This agreement governs your use of Ennyd.

Subject to this agreement, SemanticGaps grants you a nonexclusive license to install and use Ennyd on up to three Macs that you own or control. A business may use those activations on Macs it owns or controls. Keep your license key private; do not sell, rent, share publicly, or sublicense it to others.

A purchased generation-1 license includes every feature and every released Ennyd 1.x version. You may continue using the last included 1.x version perpetually, subject to this agreement and activation requirements. This is a software license, not a subscription or transfer of intellectual property. Third-party components remain subject to their own license notices.

The regular price is $149 USD once. The first 100 eligible purchases using ENNYD100 receive the $99 USD founding price. Both prices provide the same license, features, three Mac activations, and 1.x update rights. Checkout shows the applicable price and taxes before you pay.

The 14-day trial includes every feature. A purchase is required to continue creating transcription, search, and export work after the trial. Browsing, viewing, and your existing files remain available. Trial expiry does not delete your media, transcripts, or exports. Reinstalling does not start another trial.

Connect once to activate each Mac. Activation checks your key with Lemon Squeezy and uses one of your three Mac activations. After successful activation, that Mac can use its licensed Ennyd 1.x features indefinitely offline. Ennyd does not perform recurring license checks or require reconnection every 30 days.

Deactivate a Mac in Settings → License & Updates while online to free its activation. Successful deactivation removes paid access on that Mac, without removing your files or restarting your trial. Reinstallation, replacing a Mac, or losing local activation state may require online activation again. Contact support if a lost Mac or activation limit prevents recovery. Keep your key private.

Ennyd 1.x updates are included. Automatic update checks are optional and installation requires confirmation. We may offer a future major version as a separate paid upgrade; declining it does not revoke your included 1.x license. A future major version will not be installed as an ordinary included 1.x update.

Ennyd requires an Apple silicon Mac and macOS 26 or later. Continued use of an older version depends on compatible hardware and operating-system software. Perpetual licensing does not promise perpetual maintenance, new features, or compatibility with every future system.

You retain your rights in your files and outputs. You are responsible for having permission to process the material you use and for complying with applicable law. Keep backups before performing file operations and verify transcripts, search results, and exported media before relying on them.

Do not circumvent licensing controls, distribute unauthorized copies, remove proprietary notices, or reverse engineer Ennyd except where applicable law expressly permits it. This agreement does not restrict rights granted by the licenses for included third-party components.

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase under our refund policy. A full refund ends the purchased license. SemanticGaps may terminate this license for a material breach of this agreement, subject to any notice or remedy required by applicable law. Upon termination, stop using the paid license; your ownership of your files is unaffected. Contact support to dispute an incorrect license status.

Except for rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, Ennyd is provided as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Transcription and similarity results may be incomplete or inaccurate.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SemanticGaps is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and its total liability arising from Ennyd is limited to the amount you paid for the license. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies remain available.

Wyoming law governs this agreement except where mandatory protections under the law applicable to you provide otherwise. Nothing here removes your right to bring a claim in a forum available under mandatory consumer law.

The document version supplied with your purchase identifies your license terms. We will publish revisions at ennyd.com/license/. A revision will not retrospectively remove your purchased 1.x update entitlement or perpetual use of the included version. Material changes requiring agreement will be presented for acceptance rather than inferred from a website visit.
