Merge an audio file with images into one video
Select a local audio file and two images in a folder, choose Merge…, review the Sound and Images, then open the new MP4 that shows each image while the audio plays.

Transcript: what happens in this video
- In Sound and Clockwork, the LibriVox excerpt of The Time Machine is selected.
- Command-clicking adds two engravings of automaton clocks: one in the form of a lion and one in the form of Urania, Muse of Astronomy.
- Merge… opens Merge 1 Audio File with 2 Images. The excerpt is listed under Sound and both engravings under Images; each image stays on screen for an equal share of the audio.
- Merge starts the job. Jobs shows it completed and links the new MP4; the audio file and images are unchanged.
- Opening the MP4 plays the excerpt in the video viewer, with the first engraving on screen.

Result
A 30-second excerpt of The Time Machine and two engravings of automaton clocks become one MP4, each engraving on screen for half of it, and it plays in the viewer.
